Introduction

We want this organizing framework to grow to every region of the world and to make it accessible to everyone – not just our most privileged comrades from the rich North. As the threats of extractivism, fascism, colonialism and climate change grow globally and our struggles become the same struggles everywhere, it is paramount to keep inventing new organizing models that go the extra mile to include historically disenfranchised communities as active actors. Specifically we need to respond to the needs of those historically relegated to tokens or charity recipients: stateless, migrants, black and indigenous communities, the poor, trans and cis women, queer and disabled people. But how do we do that trick?

Is our belief that the AKC framework can be a powerful organizing model for taking care of our community members while simultaneously amplifying and carrying their voices into larger organizing structures. Furthermore, this framework can help us to grow into a stronger culture of safety and tackle common organizing issues such as over work from some members and lack of engagement from others, power grabbing and also to prevent hierarchical & individualistic organizing dynamics & processes. Most importantly, we believe that this framework can enhance collectivist processes and a culture of connection to land, each other, the spaces we inhabit as well as to foster a new way to look at and relate to resources. 

This Text is our invitation to consider joining our incipient global AKC network. We hope it inspires organizers to interrogate the ideas we are putting forward, and to get excited about building or enhancing systemic care with those you organize and share life with. To keep defending and praising your community spaces and your Regional Sacred Webs of Abundance. We are hoping you join our “Webbing”, dreaming and re- imagining of our lives, organizing, power and Revolution, following the power and magic of Abundance.
